Back in my mudding hayday, I used to play all sorts of different MUDs, based on different languages and with different themes. Putting these down in one place makes me realize how totally specialized my mudding has become. Sheesh! :P Well, here they are:

Realms of the Dragon

An old stand-by LP mud, I've been playing on Realms with many different names over time. I can't guarantee what my name is now, but if you email me your name, I'll try to say hi if I see you online. :)

Dawn of the Dragon

Step child of Realms of the Dragon, this mud was very fun to play. It seemed like the immortals made it so the players would have fun(a novel notion, I assure you). I loved this mud, but it's gone down for a while, so if you know the new address, please e-mail it to me.

Suvangi

I'm not quite sure, but I think the official position is that Suvangi's base code was swiped from Realms of the Dragon by a "renegade" coder... however, the original God on suvangi was a wizzard with LP code, and he's basicly rewritten the whole system. This is a lot looser mud, with amazing ammounts of feedback, and a totally different arrangement. It's not open for official playing yet, so don't get too attatched to your character, 'cause they'll probably purge before comming fully online.

TorilMUD

This mud is something like the great-grandchild of a mud I played a long time ago named Dark Knight MUD. I stumbled across it on accident, checking processes while I was bored early one morning. It's a Diku MUD, so you get hungry, thirsty, and actually have to remember spells before casting them. That may sound obnoxious, but it's really quite a bit of fun, in a challenging way. I haven't gained many levels, but I've made some contacts and figured out the basic operation of the mud. I would suggest a Conjurer if you've never played a Diku MUD before. At least then you can create food and water for yourself. :) A warrior might be nice, tho...
